Interference Prints
Lindsay McCulloch's Interference series celebrates both maximalism and hard-edged minimalism. Her work draws an analogy between the degradation of memory over time and the pixelation of information technology when interference occurs. McCulloch creates each piece slowly and methodically, allowing the medium to transmute her subject into something specific yet intangible. Her rhythmic and visually-rich pictures celebrate the word that’s on the tip of your tongue – the thought just out of reach. McCulloch finds beauty in that shifting impermanence.
